COVID-19 Pandemic and Friends of Quarry Hill Nature Center Safety Measures

Quarry Hill Nature Center has temporarily closed to the public.

With our many visitors in mind and in response to the State of Minnesota’s declaration of peacetime emergency, City of Rochester community event guidelines and the rapidly changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19; we have made the difficult decision to close operations beginning March 14, 2020. At this time, we do not have a re-open date and will continue to stay informed by our local and state agencies. We will communicate any changes as they occur on our homepage at www.QHNC.org and our Facebook and Instagram.

Classes, field trips, birthday parties and other event participants will be notified about their options early next week. We will be responding to voice mail and email regularly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to keep our community healthy. Nature is available 24/7, we encourage everyone to get a daily dose of the outdoors. It’s one of the best things you can do for well-being during challenging times. The park and trails will remain open.
